A bio-based chemical  primarily used as a raw material for the production of Furfuryl Alcohol and other derivatives. It is also used as a solvent in the production of base oils for the extraction of acidic aromatic compounds and as a reactive solvent in the manufacture of abrasive wheels, brake linings and refractory products.

Furfuryl Alcohol is a versatile, organic compound that is derived from Furfural through a hydrogenation process. Furfuryl Alcohol Is widely used in the production of Furan Resins used in the foundry industry.
